Best horsehide: Perry Sportswear 16175-P (detailing is, as ever, superb), but best GW A-2 IMHO is actually in goat - the David D Doniger pattern. It's such a classy silhouette.
I'm wearing an original Doniger AN-J-3 in capeskin inside, but it's just a shade warm - the leather is very similar in weight, colour and feel to Scott's GW A-1 and is a good insulator.

A-2s? Of the established higher end manufacturers (as opposed to less accurate patterns) possibly ELC in terms of numbers sold in the west; GW sell fewer (smaller operation and bespoke) but generally acknowledged to lead for quality.

Enjoy your Aero of course there's room for all, but we'll agree to differ on the relative merits of the Aero, ELC and Good Wear. With experience of all three and having owned multiple examples I have an equally trenchant view at this end that favours Good Wear.
