    i came across this 1940s Roughout Leather Welding Jacket that was made by Hodkins Glove Co, i did a little googling to discover they started in 1875 and this letter from the factory in 1913 is available on ebay.

    its late 60s early 70s, the white labels are earlier than the black label. I too have started dipping my toes into the less popular denim jackets that are affordable to buy, here's my Sears Roebuck for the 60s.
