The 42 fit is a very slim fit and looks too short in the arms for you. I think the 44 will fit perfectly after its had some time to shape to your body and will be an overall better fit. My guess it’s an 80’s/90s reissue of the 70’s suede jacket. Big giveaway for me is the side pockets. They introduced hand pockets on the type 3 jacket around the mid 80s.- Leigh H
