    Not my levis jackets but i have deep cleaned another roughout suede jacket. You can buy suede conditioner from Amazon. Suede is fine in warm water.

    @tmitchell59 pretty sure I found the conmar Paperclip zipper is from 1951. Featured on the 1951 M-51 Field Jacket and fishtail Parker. Talon paperclip might be different date.

    Sorry i was just referring to the lining not the leather, i assumed thats why the fit was more relaxed due to the thicker lining.

    its a thicker / warmer jacket with a wool houndstooth lining, instead of nylon quilting. I think they've stopped making it now, i could be wrong.
