Would you say that the Eastman monarch a2 is a comparable fit with eastmans M-422A? I have a 42L m442a by Eastman and it’s just a touch tight on me (granted I know it’s supposed to be a trim fit) and I’m looking at an Eastman monarch a2 44L which appears to be about the same measurements...
Sounds like you and I wear roughly the same size in Eastman. That m422a (AVG tribute) is a solid fit for me though. Think that was yours if I’m not mistaken. Yea I think a monarch 44L might be too big for me. The search continues for the perfect a2. Haha

Great looking jacket! 42 long though? 25" length for Eastman sounds like a standard 42. My Eastman m422a 42 long is 27" down the back and my Eastman B3 40 long is like 26".

Generally and historically speaking, is the m422 a slimmer cut than the a2? I have an eastman m422a in a 42 and it fits me about the same as my eastman a2 size 40.
