Up for sale is a 1940s (so I'm told) halfbelt horsehide motorcycle jacket. Really really beautiful shape for the age and 100% wearable with no issues other than a great patina and a little damage to the lining. Also, I received it with the zipper broken, but that's an easy fix by a tailor...
I came across this thread while looking for pictures of old, original B3 jackets. I just bought an Eastman B3 and wanted to compare mine to the "real deal" so to speak. Naturally, your pictures sucked me in but the story behind Walter's B3 kept me enthralled and was quite thought provoking...
Hi,
I purchased a pre owned Eastman B3 which was sold to the owner as a 40L and measures about 26.5” in length. The fellow who sold it to me included the receipt from HPA and it only claims that 1/2” was added to the length.
Actually just curious about the length since I just bought a 40L Eastman B3 in this same color. it hasn't arrived yet, but I wanted to see the comparison between a long and regular. Mine is supposedly 26.5" from seam to bottom.
Hi everyone,
Decided to sell an Aero Irvin jacket that I recently acquired because it's a 40 regular and I really need a 40 long. Just wanted to post this on here to see if anyone had any interest in it. $520 or best offer...
it does. Maybe I'm just used to my Aviation Leathercraft Irvin being a true "long" size and fitting like a contemporary jacket, so I wanted to make sure it looked okay. Obviously I got this one because I wanted a more authentic look.
