I stand corrected gentlemen. Chrome Tanned not CXL. Maybe same tannery as Lost World's ?!

    langlitz horshide is back..

Straight from Langlitz email response: Our leathers are chrome tanned in New York. The hides originate from the dairy and beef industry, and meat-goats. I think mostly from the mid-west region of The States. Our colored cowhide is out of California actually. Same tanning I...

    langlitz horshide is back..

I am pretty sure Langlitz said New York for their regular brown and black. Chrome tanned for sure. And the colored leather was definitely from California.

Also forgot to mention. If you go with the extra foam for the padding it will make bending arms very challenging at first. I was tempted to forego the extra padding at the elbows for the second but more supple dark brown cowhide but decided to man up again- LOL The regular medium cowhide cxl...

I love the padding. On both my jackets. You can pay a nominal extra charge for extra foam in the padding if desired; and I did.

    langlitz horshide is back..

I ordered a cossack collar sidewinder in medium black cow- fit perfect. Now I am waiting (due late this month) for a dark brown side winder with dress collar and mutton collar- these guys get the fit down perfectly. The leather is awesome.

Which brown cowhide do you like the best?

My preferences change, like many things in life, but I love the grain of the lighter hide.

    Aero Board Racer fit question

Actually, 1/2 inch added is a good idea. Most of my leather jackets do lose 1/2 inch after wearing.
