Thanks @Robbie79. I saw your two toned badalassi thread before I pulled the trigger and that looked so cool. I hope you still have it because that looks great on you. Yes, I love the tobacco badalassi so much I bought boots just to go with it lol. I know you've had quite a few badalassi jackets...
That's cool! Can't wait to see you rock that jacket. There was a stock PHWM here recently in black fqhh cxl and it looked great; it was smooth looking, shiny and really dark. I'm sure yours will be equally as cool if not more with the modifications you requested that says a lot about you. I hear...
2nd time round will look better for sure especially with the nicer label! Shawn has not replied to me for the past 3 days regarding the deerskin trucker.
Hope this turns out well. All the best.
I hear you. This is a clear improvement compared to the old ones. I'm glad he is listening/reading customers feedback.
Hmmm that is a good point. JL offers a quilted liner that you can also use for the sleeves or maybe 2 layer sleeve liner (i.e. Wool covered with cotton drill or satin).
To the OP; That's a perfect fit! That's a great all around jacket! The dark seal is so cool too. fCongratulations on a great pick up.
Thanks man! Can't wait to see your FL jacket
That project is so involving, can't wait to see the finished product. Also I love to see the moose jacket, and hear your thoughts about it.
The idea with the removable vest liner is smart, so you can wear the jacket for longer even when it's not that cold. Plus you can just wear the vest so...
No kidding about the grain. I have been noticing the shrunken grain boots recently and that's something I want to get at some point as well.
I read kangaroo is thin but nigh on indestructible so it's good for riding jackets. there's a few thread here about kangaroo jackets. It might be one of...
Oh boy I tell you that some Cracking boots! Want grain? Say no more! Is that your own personal footwear!? I'm thinking something button up jacket/coat! That will be a bold look for sure
WOw, did not know JL offered so many different bison options. That's so cool; especially the bison cxl (a jacket from that will be monstrously heavy as some people like it).
A type 2 custom from JL would definitely be so cool to see. Hope to see that later on if you proceed with the project...
Thank you kindly@jonesy86! All thanks to JL
Yes, I think I know which jacket you are talking about. They have a 2 tone trucker on display at their store, it's cognac/dark brown if I'm not mistaken. Hoping to see more bison jackets around here. Didn't know they made wool products out of the...
Just message them on instagram, call them or email them that will be faster.
For goatskin I know they have a chrome tanned seal brown leather with finish from a New York tannery (I have a jacket made out of it), they also showed me a seal brown goatskin but without finish that's not water...
This just looks the part. I really feel JL makes some of the best cross zips especially for riders
Thank you so much! Really wonderful to have this forum to serve as great resource so it kind of made it easy for me to pick out which details I like but it's up to the JL crew to piece it...
