I think it's not that simple...We both knew more or less what we were doing when we ordered this jacket.
She already owned and wore a Lewis Leathers which was made of similar thickness leather.
The Aero pictured is Vincenza, so not super thick. The measurements of the Aero are actually all...
I'm a 90s kid, so i spent most of my teenage years and early 20s wearing XXL clothes, everything i wore up to being 25 was usually at least 1 size too large for me.
The first "real" leather jacket i bought was a B-3, it was a size 48 (my chest is 41"), in retrospect it looked ridiculouse on me...
That's a really nice jacket and a great review, thanks.
I can't help but think that this jacket is a stepping stone towards more out there designs for you.
Soon you will be ready for a cross zip, i know it, i sense a disturbance in the force...
But it's not 100% fool proof.
My GF had an Aero jacket made, they sent a first fit jacket which really didn't work, we sent it back, they sent a second one which was much better, small adjustement were made before they did the leather version.
When she received the leather version she was...
I'm not sure the red circle is extra material.
To me it just looks like the jacket is 1" too long and resting on his butt rather than stopping above it.
It's pretty obvious in the side shot.
The solution IMO would be to make the jacket shorter, and maybe the bottom hem slightly tighter to make...
+1 That's what happened to me too, i drove to Aero, was measured, ordered two jackets.
When i received them both where oversized. I sold both back to Aero at a loss, one of the reasons i won't order again...
Not sure about that, a quick google shows the average height in France (for men) in 1920 was 168,5cm, in 1980 it was 176,5. Netherlands went from 173,5cm to 182,7cm in the same time.
You are right in saying that the average human height has remained sometwhat stable over the last 2000 years...
Weird, one pocket has a ring puller and the other has a diamond puller.
I wonder if it's a similar thing to this one:

Did you ask for measurements? She's a beauty!
They both look really nice.
Also, i'm glad i'm not the only weirdo with the same jacket in two different colours anymore...
Welcome to the "I have a leather jacket problem" Club.
What's the deal with the underside of the wrists? Did they run out of leather?
It's weird to put a weaker material in a place that sees the most wear...
I think it's kinda ironic.
Aero has been using the "we are the only ones using such thick leather and it is hard to work with" excuse for years to justify their huge needle holes, thick seams and generally heavy handed construction.
A Pakistany company that makes jackets that most people...
When think_zot was selling his Peacoat i asked him if there was anything else he was planning on selling that wasn't listed yet...
I saw it and instantly knew. I think dual tone is my new thing, got Cordo/black Johnson from Tony, this black/white one and the navy/black Trojan on the way.
