Well, that's pretty much my measurements, so this jacket would have been too big on you as well up top. It was a sweet jacket. If it was even close to fitting, I would have kept it.
The other one I put photos of though, would be perfect however. I'll let you know if I get the other jacket...
Yeah, I'm finding there's something fishy about some/most of the Japanese sellers. I think they're more like brokers. Several will list the same jacket at different price points. That's best case. Every time I ask to see pictures of a measurement, they either don't reply or they'll say...
ah man. Sorry, I just put it in the mail to send back to Ebayer who sold it to me. They let me get a refund since their sizing description was off. Just got stuck with some shipping costs as a loss which is pretty much what would have happened selling here at that price.
For general info...
that's a good price. Was tracking a 1990 Enfield, but he wants $350 firm.
I think I'm evolving to if it's a ridiculous price, I'll consider buying, instead of chasing. There's really few jackets that are rare and then those are priced outside of what I want to pay anyway. It seems like $100...
Don't forget about that Montgomery Ward one as well. So nice. I'm already maxed out with black cross zips. Anybody ever find a nice brown one like these, let me know.
PSA about "new" Schott listings you might see these next couple weeks. I think they had their annual blow out sale recently. Lots of people go and buy stuff and then relist on Ebay trying to pass off as new.
I'm pretty sure Schott puts a hole in the main tag or the pocket tag to indicate it's...
Yeah my Aero Sheene does that too. I think it is the arm hole size mostly as Ton mentioned. Basically the sleeve is back flushing with no where to go. Unless you're planning on wearing a leather jacket to a crucifixion and want to look perfectly symmetrical, I wouldn't worry about it.
Alright, lets move this sucker. I really want it to stay in the TFL family. It's so nice. Wish it fit me better. Maybe I should try it on again after Thanksgiving dinner ;)
$210
they used to source from Brazil and with Covid no more supply is what I heard. So they either finding something new or waiting I guess for that tannery to fire up again
Love that Irvin. Aero got a Battle of Britain one on sale page that's pretty close to my size and crying out to me. I think it might be a tad tight. If I didn't already have the B3, I think I would have chanced it. Buying 2 heavy duty shearlings for Los Angeles weather, I think my wife would...
So your ptp is 25, I would add 1.5- 2 inches to that for slim fit, or 2.5-3 for more relaxed.
I have a 21 ptp and my size 40 is about 22.75. It is very snug just on the line of being too much. Depending on leather type, you can push it a little bit. CXL will stretch a little bit over time...
very nice. I'm getting addicted to side laces too now. I feel like they allow for a better tuck than the usual buckles. The way the material is folded in makes it more stream line. My last 2 or 3 purchases have been CHP style. Sadly the last doesn't fit, but I got lucky with my first...
So bummed it didn't fit. Usually something like this I'd toss in the wash, 30-40 minutes high dry and viola. But that will mess up the track fit for the liner and then it would be a shame. Almost like ruining a relic. The owner was so excited I emailed her about the jacket. I wonder if they...
was that the one you had or someone had in classified other day with the mutton collar? Was real nice. I almost thought about it, but I'm up to 4 cross zips. I am selling the Just Leathes San Jose I just got because it's a size too big for me. It's gorgeous, but i don't want to risk wash and...
Just got this delivered today from Ebay. It's a tad big in the shoulders and ptp for me. I like it to be more snug. I know if I do a wash and dry, it'll get closer, but I really don't need the jacket so I'd rather see if someone here can use it as is. It's got the zip in fuzzy liner, so I...
