I agree. I've always preferred Stetsons but the quality of the felt and sweatband on these older Resistols are clearly superior to any Stetson I've handled, save for my western Stetson 7x Clear Beaver. -

Thanks for the info, Dallashat. I have searched the thread a bit but so far nothing from Dinerman regarding Resistol oil cloth liners. Holler if you find something. It's inteersting how hard it seems to be to date Resistols compared to Stetsons. -

Ha! Thanks Hatophile. Almost my entire collection is comprised of thin ribbons. I just don't really like to way I look in wider ribbons, one key exception being a grey Playboy mid ribbon that I think looks pretty decent on me. -
