Found an old suit the other day, single breasted single button, looked 30's going by the very old label and some other clues, great fabric, and fit well, but just a bit too beat up for serious wear unfortunately, never seen one button like this before...any clues? -

go boateng? I dunno bout that guy, but our ex-singer paid $US3500 for a suit by some Belgian ponce called Dries Van Nooten, and I tell you what, it was a half-arsed single breasted polyester thing I wouldn't wear to an enemy's funeral...go to a decent tailor instead is my advice..if you can... -

Just bought my first iron
the flat I always start with the placket myself, and don't be afraid of mixing up your own starch in a spray bottle, the idea beyond the 'stiffness' is that the dirt adheres to the starch and is washed out with it, adding to the life of the garment, so be liberal with it on the inside collar.- dr greg
