Thanks hatophile! :)
This one is my Stetson Sutley. Another that I bought late in 2004 in Virginia City, Nevada. Not vintage bust seems to hold up well. I think the only hting I would replace is the sweatband.
At least they did it right and made it a brown sweatband.
Cheers!

I wish I had HBO righ now for this one. The look is fantastic.
Great cars.
I suppose I'll wait for it to hit channel 101 on Directv or see it on Hulu.
Cheers!

My first real Fedora purchase. Im not sure of the model, but it is a Beaver Brand. Bought it in a little place called Heads Up in Virginia City, Nevada back in mid 2004. I think I paid a whole $40 for it. They had a $60 price tag on it and knocked another $20 off. I suppose they were looking to...
Here is my Stetson Royal De Luxe, St. Regis. I'm not 100% sure of the age of this one, but I would hazard a guess at the mid 1950's. Could be wrong though. I would think the experts here would know by the liner.
Cheers!

Royal Stetson De Luxe, St. Regis. Not 100% on the age of this one. Again, a guess at the 1950's. I think the experts here would be able to tell from the liner.

I like them Silke! Well done.:eusa_clap You've managed to get that Depp wardrobe look down especially with the flop & ease of the caps. Now work on the darker contemplative look to the eyes and you'll have it down pat.
Cheers!

I've seen hats that looked worse than that come back from the dead & be stunning show pieces. As long as the felt is in good shape and has no major damage all else is replaceable. I think you'll be ok and rather happy with your end results. So far so good. Keep us updated.
Cheers!

You might try the Hat flap. http://www.thehatflap.com/
Personally I like the 180's. They stow away fairly compact and you don't have to take your hat off the remove them, plus you don't have the trap going over the noggin.
Also, you might try Cabela's or one of the hunting outfitters sites...
I know at least once a year they play it on TCM. You may be able to check their schedule and have them e-mail you a reminder when it will air and then record it on your DVR. Another option anyway.
Cheers!

Love in the Afternoon (1957). With Gary Cooper, Audrey Hepburn, Maurice Chevalier & John McGiver (he is better known from "Man's Favorite Sport?").
Cheers!
