Mine were a gift from a Cuban friend who came to NY to visit. I didn't ask questions. When I go to Montreal, I always stop at La casa del Habano to enjoy a couple of cubans. Too bad one can't bring any to the USA. Oh well.- Aureliano

I could be wrong but the Montecristos you get in the USA are Domenican. Mine are Cuban and, let me tell ya, there's a significant difference in taste. These and the Romeo y Julieta have been aging since late September when I got them. Plume/Bloom is forming--some of it got lost in my fingers...- Aureliano

I really do want to. The thing is, I don't have a single friend who's interested in trying or who is actually a fencer. Going to a club without any equipment of basic, even if theoretical knowledge, is a bit intimidating. Wish you lived closer, Al! -

Today I had one of the new 2012 Avo Cigars. A great cigar shop had a tasting event this evening. Very, very nice cigar. As for storing, I keep my cigars without the cellophane. I do on some of my wide ribbon felts. But the Strat (felt) seems to look much better with a flatter back brim. Flat overall, I'd say at the risk of repeating myself. Mine should be here on wednesday. -
