If you order a custom jacket from Aero, you can specify the body length and sleeve length of the jacket with no problem at all (it's even returnable if this is the only modification you make). Don't base your decision by the size tag when you buy from Aero as it is all over the place depending...
There was a post recently about YKKs branch that made the reproduction stuff that some Japanese makers use that I found rather fascinating and wished was more readily available in the US market
Will do, I already received the antique brass donut buttons so just waiting on the jacket to complete the look. Hopefully, Shawn emailed me twice today but he didn't email me for a week before then
I don't know yet. I'm only hoping it is better than the goatskin. Hmm maybe I should have just picked a regular button hole construction but I'm gifting it so it doesn't bother me lol. It's being shipped today so if all goes well with shipping then I should have it by the weekend or early next week.
That's true, nothing works like effort and time wearing it. Love the PHWM style, I can't wait to receive mine.
While I'm here, I'll share with you the deerskin trucker
Yes, I'm sure it is but it doesn't feel as much of a chore wearing it and not as heavy compared to my aero so I'm thinking the aero I had before was probably 4oz or so. The 3.5 oz brown cxl I have is wonderful to wear, it's so much easier to break in than I was expecting it to be
Happy break in! This looks super cool, I like the zippers on the outer sleeves too,
That looks great overall! Hope to see you break this is and drape to your body better! There's always the hot water treatment if you want to speed it up. . .
I should receive this gift jacket for my sister later this week. A 5* custom size black deerskin trucker, dark brown stitching (can't tell myself if it's brown on photos), black silk rayon lining shell/sleeves, leather lined hand pockets, double welt hand pocket construction, snap button closure...
Oh yeah! What a line up! Can't wait to see this
I feel the same way, I'm more drawn to full soles and yes Shinkis would be great
True about the Dehner boots, I'm sure those are great hides on its own and that they can take a beating but you can get better.
Wow, I tried that with my cafe racer and I think I get what you mean. Now that's a lot to consider when designing a well made functional jacket! Thanks man
If I go for shell cordovan, I feel I might opt for color #8. It might be more versatile and doesn't it go well with black/brown?
Got it, I'll look into that discord community.
Those Dehner tankers mean business, that's some serious footwear
