Got it, still waiting. That's the most nerve wracking part
I'll try that. I did the same before with my aero in black cxl but I did push ups and that made the elbows baggier so I won't do that again lol
Yep, should be fine by now as I was able to work out but still get tired rather easily...
Any word on the JL perfecto?
That's great to hear, I'll do the same trick for the next time it rains! Then you just leave it out to dry and wear occasionally to help mold the jacket to frame? Got it!
Thanks, man. It's not lingering that much as I feel better today but I still feel not my...
Congratulations in advance to a future JL jacket.
Heavy CXL steer will be interesting to see, as all the jacket out of JL recently has been HH. That's an awesome make up to start with. May I suggest for an extra added weight/warmth to cover the wool/alpaca with another liner so it's not so...
That's great to know, maybe it varies from batch to batch as well. Or maybe because my jacket is a trucker and has double stitching? It does squeak a lot for some reason
Good for you that you were able to visit. 2 weeks before my trip I already had a feeling that it will get cancelled cause the cruise ship off Tokyo bay was already being quarantined
Maaaaan! That jacket fit looks so much better with the snaps closed. When it breaks in you will have a better gauge if the jacket needs a little alteration. I like the extra button snap on my JL CXL jacket, i feel it does make the sleeve shorten faster because the creasing gets more pronounced...
@Colin G thanks for sharing, it really brings back memories. I did the same touristy thing and basically visited the same place as you did lol
My Tokyo trip got rained on by covid last march (damn pandemic). The money I saved up from not going did fund my first few leather jackets. . .
I feel the same way every time I have a new jacket, in that it fits perfect then after a few wears then I know that it's a touch too big or small haha
If it's really natural color then it might look darker/more tan with wear like one of those in the natural leather jacket thread. I always...
Thanks man! That's coming quicker than I would have liked to, so I might just hang it out to get rained on for some time. The covid vaccine is making me feel aches and pains with some fatigue tsk tsk
Thanks man. My most playful lining for any of my jackets, it's nice to be a little different...
That looks like a nice hide, love how the collar is a different color! The fit looks great but will prbably look better later when you bulk up. Any idea if this jacket will darken over time or will it remain the same?
Man, that's some wealth of knowledge about how to quicken the pace of the break in process. I will try to walk in the rain (hopefully it will rain soon here) and when summer comes I'll bake my jacket inside the car.
I was planning to but they've only been doing curb side pick up so I'll wait a while until they let people into the store again. Looks like a cool place with staff that is socially responsible and community oriented. Im afraid if I visit then there's another thing I'll be addicted to aside from...
Thanks @dudewuttheheck. I appreciate it greatly. Definitely a flattering cut for me. IKR the lining is something I would wear by itself to be honest lol
@TheDonEffect yes, it reminds of cordovan jackets we see posted here too. I mean it's a good thing lol I do have an aero tumbled cordovan on order so that will be so interesting to compare the two when I finally receive the jacket
Maybe Horween gives JL some of the best hides? I know cxl is...
