Oh, look at that! A hat like that makes a man want to go out an buy a new suit to wear under it, something at least made to measure, possibly even bespoke. Worth the wait? I guess!
You might give a 'Spey' rod a try. Very long and two-handed, they are reputed to be just the ticket for those with shoulder problems. I have a bit of a missed up rotator cuff and I am giving serious thought to trying one.
With the exception of that shooting jacket (which I actually like), I cannot help but feel that a shirt or a jacket without a breast pocket approaches uselessness. If I am feeling really dressy I want a pocket square. If not, like Tomasso, I want a place for my dark glasses/notebook/shopping...
Absolutely! For a small child, Christmas morning is a process of digging through the wrapping paper and setting aside the contents so one can play with the real treasure, the cardboard box! When I bought a large gun safe, I unpacked and installed it and wondered what to do with the carton. My...
I remember turning my sandbox into a bunker. We dug out the center, put wooden crates up for the sides and mounded the dirt in front. I can't remember just who we were fighting but we had the best pillbox in SoCal.

I can't stand T-shirts. I only wear them gardening or exercising because they do a good job absorbing sweat. I wear hats to keep my head either shaded or warm. Of course, if I can keep my head either shaded or warm with style, so much the better.;)
That is certainly more of my idea of a frock coat than Oswald's. A frock should only be buttoned up in the most severe weather. To my mind a frock coat is at its best when it frames a truly outstanding waistcoat. The one on the left being a prime example. Brocade? Yeah, baby!
My great grandfather's railroad watch is at Renaissance Watch Repair for a complete cleaning and overhaul. I will post picts when it returns around November. Anyone know a good place to find a watch chain? A double Albert would be cool but excessive so a single is fine.
