Thanks. No change to the crease, but I did have to work on the brim for about an hour last night. I had to contend with reshaping 50-60 years of crown-down storage. I was please with how well it flattened out and took the re-shape.
The writing on the box is hard to read, but it is 7-3/8, the same as the hat is marked in two places (size tag & re-order tag under the sweat). The color is fairly accurate in the pictures, but I cannot figure out what the color written on the box is supposed to be? It is in beautiful shape &...
Unknown Maker - any ideas?
I just won this vintage (I'm guessing 1940s-50s) dead-stock, never-worn, still in the original box, brown 3X western hat, model = "Fortworth" as marked on the box, sold by Gammage's Western Wear in Moultrie, GA (no other markings). Nothing in the hat or on the box to...

I bought a new 4X Open Road in black a few months back and have never worn it. Last week I took it with me to Texas Hatters in Lockhart, TX, and had them add a pencil roll to the brim (like the "Hemphill" model) - I really like the new look.
Paris Hatters - San Antonio, TX
I apologize if they have already been mentioned, but I have always had great experiences with Paris Hatters. I have done business with them even before I moved to Texas and they've been around since 1917. The store has a good selection of western and...
