I’ve long wanted a Bungalow or a Foursquare. Preferably something in the style of the Aladdin Company’s Brunswick or Hudson. The Marsden is nice too.
Alas, while the sales literature is well preserved (mostly at my alma mater, Central Michigan University), the blueprints were apparently...
I’ve seen at least one picture of him getting out of a ‘55 Chevy sedan. But I do seem to recall reading that a famous hot rodder (just whom escapes me right now - Gene Winfield, maybe?) was following him to the track the day he died, and he may have been driving a wagon.

I’m not familiar with Southern Proper or R Hanuer; but I would recommend the Brooks Brothers “346" bows to anybody who was thinking about starting. They’re more expensive than the first ties I bought, but they tie up very well.

By that logic, shouldn’t any divorced-and-remarried fellow be an expert on black tie, given that he’s probably worn it to both his weddings?
I still say this is at least partially calculated (possibly by their handlers - remember how the President was cited as a fedora-wearer back when he was...
I wonder how much of that may be calculated? Most politicians typically campaign on a populist platform, regardless of what they're actually selling once elected.

It's been so long since I've had mainstream pop from a glass bottle, that I'd forgotten that, but I remeber it distinctly from when they stopped bottling apple juice in glass. I really haven't felt the same about the stuff since.

The video still didn't work for me.
For the record, here's a 1929 Essex:
The words "street rod" make me nervous. I think of monochrome pastel paint, billet wheels, and tweed bucket seats. I hope you just mean "street-driven hot rod".
Did you ever check the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane...
Looking very good, Edward. And I must say that even with international shipping, the Olney from Tails and the Unexpected does seem to be quite the bargain.

Don't be so quick to take offense, please. I thought it was worth spelling out for later readers and folks less familiar with sartorial tradition. Plus, it helped as I fleshed out my own position. I'm certainly not accusing you of ignorance.

All these Lees, and not a single straw? Allow me to add my boater - all the way from Waltham, Mass. to Bay City, Mich.
It was being marketed as 1920s vintage, but I really have no idea. All I know is that it's really nice and was cheaper than a new one. It's the first vintage hat I've...
You've hinted at, but left out, the third factor by which some of us are guided - geography. I nod to historic U.S. Army regulations, which permitted the white uniform only during certain months when in the United States, but year round in tropical regions abroad.
For my part the guidelines...
