$350, they had to adjust the pattern as its something they don't have (XS in women's)

Footwear to go with our jackets

No problem at all. I think the difference is so little that paying extra for the imported leather is the best option to go at this time. Those 1000 mile boots look clean. I always liked them too. That's great to know especially coming from an Italian. Thanks for sharing, pls post your boots as...

Footwear to go with our jackets

From what I have read on forums, watched reviews and from people who bought locally tanned smooth leather the common mention is that the leather is okay but a little thin and it might not last so long compared to imported leather

Hmm if you are getting a local leather maybe go for rough out version as others have done. For smooth leather it is better to get it in importedleather for a little extra. The cost is very reasonable especially when you only pay 50% downpayment to start the project and pay the rest on completion.

Nice! I always thought that was a keeper and saved screenshots of it. You're friend might be in the wrong trade if he did that perfect diy job lol that job came out so nicely, it looked stock and no wonder you did not notice it too. Yes pls a close up on the zipper placement and the underside...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

The outfit looks great but that jacket is perfect on you it's just a shame and a disgrace what transpired yesterday. Yes, on point as usual. The layered up looks great when you button it up! Congrats on the good looking trucker. On to the next project...

Footwear to go with our jackets

They made me a badalassi olive with black overdye monkey boot. Great construction and materials used, its one of my best fitting boots. I would choose the imported leather compared to the locally tanned ones. 4 month production time, I think I paid $450

@Monitor do you still have the moto trucker jacket? If you do any chance you have a close up on the main zipper and button construction? Thanks in advance

Black deerskin 1mm, it's really black. It looked brown on the close up but it's not brown at all. Hope he gets back to you about that. All the best

It is very high quality, JL offering is a little heavier than this but definitely similar hand feel to the jacket I handled.

Yes! What a monster that one will be! What color did you go for for the next project?

    Five Star Leather Jackets

I imagine it's like submerging the leather with hot wax/oil/tallow/fat whatever to help absorb more into the leather itself. It seems like they are cooking the leather and seasoning it lol

    Five Star Leather Jackets

Got it no hot stuffing equals less weight because it has less oil/wax/tallows etc Isn't this @Hh121 test jacket to see how 5* handles heavier hides? Will you be getting a different jacket made after this?

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Got it, Aero did mention don't do anything to their jackets until after 20xx for leather care. So cool, that's a great example how durable the cxl.

    Five Star Leather Jackets

That's a pretty hefty weight but I remember you like the heavyweight stuff. Thanks, I thought it was CXL. Never heard of the Latigo line before, so does it mean less pull up and less water repellent if it is not hot stuffed? Hope you get to wear your Horween 5* jacket soon.

@HoosierDaddy has a photo of a black cxl that has a wonderful patina I've only had my brown cxl for 3 months but it is showing reddish rusty brown on the contact areas (armpit/elbows)
