    Ive seen farmers kill livestock with one shot from a .22 to the head on cows, pigs , a .22 can be very deadly in the right spot , plus makes less noise. last summer I saw a guy slaughtered a full grown cow and he shot it with a .22 rifle to kill it , I think it only took one shot to the head.
