Last night lady B went for sushi with the girls while I suffered at home through a blackened filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli .

To each his own, but I would rather sit at the table and not eat if my only option is sushi (even if I was really, really hungry), so I'd say you made one of the great dinner trades of all time as a blackened filet mignon is high on my list of favorite foods.
