Wedding attire is so delicate. I believe the beaded accents you describe would be perfectly fine as long as they aren't very flashy. I think matching the gloves to the hat sounds very tasteful, too. :) If the gloves and purse are black, they would look great paired with a strong, saturated...
Let me add my apologies too. I'm certainly not the best behaved, but I'm trying.
I feel like I've made friends from this thread :) Even if it doesn't last much longer, I've really enjoyed it!
I agree so much with this, it hurts. I'll clean up a quote from the 1989 movie Parenthood, in which Keanu Reeves says: "You know, Mrs. Buckman, you need a license to buy a dog, to drive a car - You even need a license to catch a fish. But anyone can be a father."
Ugh, I hate CityTV, especially Breakfast Television. They're targeting an audience with an IQ of 12.
But I will concede that it is nice to have a positive look :)
Including the coffee taster one? That was my favourite :D
When I tell people what I do, they give me a look as though I'm going to have a warrant sworn out for their arrest.
I hope she reads what you say about her, I'm sure it would give her a warm fuzzy feeling :)
Female perspective: I'm glad that most guys here are at least open to the idea. While I personally do prefer to date a man taller than myself (and most men are) I have dated guys who were shorter than me when I wore heels, and it's no big deal. I think it all comes down to confidence.

My boyfriend made me a bloody mary once, and he was all proud of himself... But I couldn't stomach it. It just tasted like tomato juice with pepper in it, and tomato juice is nasty enough on its own.
He got kind of mad at me for that.
That's such a broad generalization of Golden Era culture that it can't be true.
Like I said a few posts back, it's a different world now. The Baby Boomer generation had a lot to do with changing the old world. There isn't any proportional comparison, because there can't be.
Well... Neither am I qualified to take the stance, outside of a Grade 11 Parenting class.
It still seems to me that this should be common sense, but people today are constantly pushing the barriers of common sense (and for that matter, taste.) They're labouring under the delusion that children...
But that's the problem, and what many people aren't seeing - These children are being hurt. You can take a very convincing scientific stance here and point out how this will mar their mental make-up in their formative years. Physical wounds heal faster than psychological ones.
That's certainly an interesting theory, and it does make some sense. Building upon that are women and girls who go after men where it is entirely inappropriate to do so - Say if they're married, or they are much older and in a position of authority. (I'm thinking of a certain brazen blonde who...
I'm definitely a creature of habit:
When I get up, I go to the bathroom and wash my face and brush my teeth.
Back in the bedroom, it's time for make-up.
Apply primer to eyelids.
Draw on cats-eye eyeliner.
Put on my mascara.
Dust on eyeshadow.
Glue on my false eyelashes.
Slather sunscreen all...
It makes me insane when people do this. They do it to classic cars, old houses, and gorgeous dresses aswell, among other things.
People have no respect for history.
