    Black deerskin trucker update after shaping the collar. I've been wearing it regularly and the jacket is still shaping around my physique but it's getting there. It's a little too trim for anything but a t shirt but it will work for where I live.

    My brown cxl is at 2.75". You're much taller than I am so, it might look better to make it around 3.5-4" to make it more proportioned.

    Per instructions by @handymike, you would run hot tap water on the underside of the collar until it feels softer/pliable. Dry excess water, put on the jacket and shape it as you see fit. When you have it where you want it you just set it down to dry.

    The upper will be made from black horse butt from Maryam which I am a fan of so I know how that will behave. I do hope the 103 last and size agrees with me. The lead time was projected at 6 months so maybe I'll have the boots by July (hopefully). I'll probably get one (western boot) later on...

    I totally get what you were trying to imply. I didn't know squat about boots about 10 years ago but I knew redwing was a trusted go to footwear choice. so even now it is my standard if the boot/bootmaker is par/subpar/over the quality of red wings.

    I think cxl makes some of the best leather in the world too, the brown and cordovan really stand out. Tony just had the midnight blue aero and that looks stunning.
