Not much I still like the jacket lol it's so much easier to wear compared with my other jackets.
Good point but what I meant was i should have been a more informed consumer.
The reason I wanted to try the deerskin was to experience another type of leather and this sold me on getting another one...
Love the collar! What a nice looking hide and that's a really nice half belt! Congratulations to having a great piece made just for you! How long did your project take from order to delivery?
Yes, I posted it a while back here and it got sold on eBay. I hope I don't get ripped off like the horror stories I read here before. If it fit me better I would have loved to keep the jacket because of how beautiful the hide is but my shoulders and armhole won't let me keep it. I hear you, I...
Gotta give it to you! First the grizzly and then this one! That's some bold jacket choices but you carry this jacket so well like how you wear the grizzly as well. Congrats on another great review and a rockin jacket!
Thank you. The matte look of this brown is growing on me (still partial to the tobacco badalassi) but the fit/mobility sets is apart. What a great construction and the attention to details they did is highly commendable.
I hope you will still like the deerskin. I still quite like mine even after all the processing they did. Wish I would have known all these info before ordering but my sister still loves her jacket and she still wears it all the time.
I liked how thick and comfy the goatskin was but I had a...
Thanks, I do think it's quite balanced even though it's a short jacket.
Got it, that's so cool to know. Do you ever reach out to the tanneries and have them make you something diffferent for a project?
Lol so true. Yes, it's hard to find the one that could work or you'll find something that needs repairs (don't want to really deal with that) or those stores at bails (but it has weird creases). The vintage game is a hard one and I don't really like buying and selling stuff to. That's why I...
Don't know what is the difference between the two process. I still like the leather even knowing that. It's still soft and drapey. I wonder if they also do the mill process for their goatskin
Thanks man. It really fits well and comfy to wear. I do want another trucker in the future made from a different hide. Those Levi's/gap ones look cool as well
Thanks, this is a properly sized one for sure. Agree but I won't do that for every jacket, maybe just for lighter weight ones that are...
Thanks man, this is so much better than the goatskin trucker that I used to have.
I hope I don't regret having the zippers but the zipper teeths aren't too scratchy so it's okay so far. I can't wait to see that too, that should be the first one in that tan/conic colorway.
I did the old hot water treatment to shape the collar c/o @handymike . This is why I like having a little extra length on the collar. It's not as nice as @willyto s mustache but it will do.
Mostly for the pocket bulge especially if you use the hand pockets a lot but the extra added security to not misplace small items such as those helps too. I also had them line the hand pockets with deerskin so it's more rigid compared to fabric material to keep the shape of the hand pockets and...
Thanks man! Can't help but feel grateful to wear this really, it's so nice and rugged at the same time. I'll take good care of the jacket and wear it a lot. I'll really work on breaking this in even better.
I've seen that before and what a gorgeous looking jacket! It's a tad big on the shoulders for me and the sleeves are about 2" long for my short arms lol
