What size brim is "stingy"?
matching up Bearing in mind the relationship between lapels and brim width, can one successfully wear a stingy with a DB suit? I wonder....... -

3 men in a boat
Just for amusement I put these three Stetsons in a row in order of brim width. From R-L a Hampton, San Juan, and Open Road, they are all Australian Stetsons though, and probably made by Akubra, but the felt is definitely softer than your usual Akubra -
1940's Stetson Soveign for walking around town and an ensemble with it.

I see lots of tips here about stretching hats to larger sizes, what about the reverse? The Bogart I just scored (you can see in the other thread) is just too big even with foam inside the lining; it just don't sit right. I'm going to just wet it and put it in the sun for want of a better... -
