This one is the only one I've found for a couple of months...a Goodwill find. Nothing spectacular, but it's better than nothing. 1940s, no label.

It's not like there's a 'difference' between late-40s and early-50s ties, it's just that after 1952 everything started to narrow in width. Even though I've dealt with vintage ties for over twenty years now I can't positively date a tie be it 1948 or 1951.
I'd like to see someone making long-sleeve rayon shirts in pastel colors with the spread collar and top button loop and horizontal button holes and two pockets with flaps and pleated cuffs and.....
Thanks! Actually, I have a large piece of black fabric tacked to the wall next to my computer (I'm sitting on my desk chair) and have a single studio light with a white umbrella. Then I just put my camera on a tripod and set to self-timer. I take a dozen or so shots until I think I got an okay...
