OK, THIS fedora/baseball cap is a travesty of justice…

I guess we can always hope that if these catch on, they might spark some interest in folks to start wearing real fedoras. We've had that conversation in regards to some of the punk fedoras, so maybe a similar thing could happen here.

OK, THIS fedora/baseball cap is a travesty of justice…

Well, the hat isn't my cup of tea, but I don't hate it. It's a little unique, and I do like it better than some of the tacky baseball caps kids wear these days.

    Would you, if you could?

Perhaps part of our general consensus of deciding we'd rather not live in the past is due to Our knowledge of both the past, and our present day. It's like the saying "hindsight is 20/20". If we lived in the Golden Era, we wouldn't know how much better (or worse) things would be in the...

    Unpopular movie opinions...

I have to agree with this. I have seen all three of the Ocean's movies, and have no real desire to ever see them again. I feel after watching the first one, I've seen all three, as there really isn't anything amazing about them, nor different amongst the three. It feels like its the same plot...

    Decline in hat sales

No thanks...I'll keep my money. :eusa_doh:

    Decline in hat sales

Hmm...if Hermes' shirt is worth $750, I wonder how much Zeus' is worth...:eusa_doh:

    Decline in hat sales

touché! :D Obviously, that "somebody" isn't me. Actually, isn't Hermes the Greek messenger?

    Decline in hat sales

Hmmm...can anyone tell me why that shirt is worth $750?...

    Would you, if you could?

That sounds like the best option to me. I know there were plenty of negative things about the Golden Era, same as there are plenty of negative things about the modern day. I wouldn't mind visiting, but I wouldn't care to deal with some of the hardships on a day to day basis (living through...

    Stetson Playboy: Stretching & restoring...

Remarkable job! That looks like a completely different hat! I'd call this restoration a success!

    This generation of kids...

It does seem like this is where society has placed its priorities. University sports teams and their mascots seem to be the elements that define the identities of colleges; not their academic programs or because they have specific professors who have done such and such in their lives...

    do you have many friends?

I definitely migrate towards having my own close knit group of friends instead of a large pool. I probably have a few really close friends who know nearly anything about me, while the rest are varying degrees of acquaintances. Like some others have said here, quality over quantity is the key...

    Crushable Stetsons at Dillards

Hmm...maybe this is a fairly recent acquisition of theirs. Next time I'm in Dillards, whenever that is, I'll have to check it out.

    Crushable Stetsons at Dillards

It's been a few years since I've been inside a Dillards, but I know several years ago, the local Dillards had a few brimmed hats for sale. I never looked closely at them, but from a distance they looked like they modern "punk" stingies. That's probably why I didn't check them out further.

    This generation of kids...

I can relate to this. I have great admiration for my alma mater, and immensely enjoyed my school years, though I really dislike the current administration at my alma mater and where they have chosen to put the money. Their football coach is, for lack of a better word, a creep, who can't seem...
