    Can only agree! Difficult times for sellers... WW2 or up to Vietnam war originals are easyer to sell, especilly if in good cond and larger size... Even Good Wear A-2 jackets...almost new condition...good size...New price approx. 1200,-- Euro...barely sell for 800,--Euro in the same flawless...

    Maybe a made on order jacket will be the best...or just give your ideal dimensions/ measurements, and a seller will be lucky or you both will be. PE. I am quite tall as well... need an 48" from ELC or GW, ( and customized) but only a 46" from Aero... but again customized... Point is... you only...

    Hi Chris best is you give your chest, sleeve and back ideal measurements...and possibly your max budget. Makers have different mesurements for one same size label. IMHO, thats the best way to help you out.

    I did it on several Eastman jackets, B-3 , Irvin's and A-2 HH. All well and perfect!.... but during ( slow) drying, I oil it every 6 hours , and put it over a clone of my torso and arms I fabricated with styro. Never had an issue. Would do it again with any jacket...but my way only.

    Galashiels ...perfect choice...there you can try what suits you...your needs and your expected climate and your wallet... Try ELC as well...approx 300 miles south west of Galashiels...same reasons.
