Vintage suit with weird inside "strap"?????

I'm not sure how it would work, but perhaps the strap is to hold some pigeons? Like this was custom made for a stage magician? That would definitely explain all the pockets.

    What's for Dinner?

Braised shallot-and-thyme pork chops with sour cream gravy, corn on the cob, baby peas, Zinfandel.

So do I! Good to see you again, Matt, and the people at the SoCoast Plaza Allen Edmonds send their regards. Any chance of a LA Tweed Night this year?

What to Wear with a Deerstalker

But you'll need that good 18 oz tweed coat by the time the snow starts to fly. I know about St. Paul . . .

What to Wear with a Deerstalker

I think you're on the right track. Bookster and Horwood & Shaw are famous for their shooting jackets. And if you're somewhat strapped for cash, contact Tweedmans Vintage. They have previously owned tweed coats of various sorts by the bundle for very little money. You look pretty slim so you...

    Hat Cleaning Services

Yea, Cleanahat! Just got my favorite fishin' hat back from cleanahat.com. Cleaned and new leather sweatband installed plus shipping for $70. That may sound expensive but it puts another twenty plus years of fishin' trips on the ol' lid and that's a lot cheaper than buying a new Akubra.

    Black Suit

I think a black suit is just the ticket for evenings at the symphony or the theater. The current 'rules' against black suits are nothing but individuals putting on airs and pretending to be aristocrats demeaning black suits as 'servant wear'. A pox on the lot of them.

Tonight sauteed pork chops with a apple brandy reduction sauce, crepes sauvage(whole wheat pancakes), swiss chard amandine with fruit and cheese for dessert.

I'm not enough of a connoisseur to say whether it's 'Bold' or not but it certainly is classy! And such a great fabric.

Aha! I surmised as much, even without going back to look. It's just good grammatical sense.

How has your Homburg been received?

No, I want one that I can wear to the theater and concerts. Dark suit, plain tie, boutonniere, walking stick and homburg. Got everything else, need da hat!

    The Lords hat

Well, I am reconsidering my lack of interest in the lords' hat. The wife and I are going to have a very full theater and concert season for a change and a hat more formal than my Moon Grey Stylemaster would probably be a good idea for evening wear. However, a tuxedo hat is just a bit much...

Ask a question, get an answer

I've got plenty of things to entertain myself with, thanx, and I'm not about to try and replace the sweat band on my own. Fortunately, Cleanahat.com will take care of everything and I'm shipping it out Monday. Doc is right. Flammable liquids are not toys.
