    Seems to me men never unbuttoned their double-breasted suits back then and only a few inches of the tie was ever exposed. On some old movies I've seen some men take off their suit coats revealing that the tie was tied very short. I actually have a few ties where the design is mainly on the top...

    Amazing ties! Just when you thought you've seen them all..... :eusa_clap I've started scanning mine, too. It brings the fold lines out a bit too much, though. I'll admit, too, that I'll photoshop some of the flaws.
