If I were to go the SB route I'd check out the Black Clayton horsehide. I think that would be perfect for a motorcycle style jacket. It's probably the most charismatic leather I've encountered so far.
Love it. They never shy away from heavy grain and they match the panels to perfection. Look at those sleeves with matching heavy grain on top and it fades to more subtle closer to the bottom.
