I actually already viewed all 500 tartan options before posting this and couldnt find it. Even viewed the various weights. Doesn't look like any black stewart Ive seen. Sent them an email to see if they know for sure. What do you guys think of that specific design?
Any other tartan...

Can't find out any info on this particular tartan pictured. Anyone have an idea on which one it is? Having a Pioneer done up in black FQHH / probably tumbled and need some suggestions on which Tartan would look complimentary to...
Think I'm leaning towards a 50's halfbelt or Pioneer. Either regular black FQHH or Tumbled black, not positive yet. Im guessing the Tumbled FQHH would drape better considering its a tad softer and wouldn't get the large crease lines like regular FQHH. Probably black drill lining...NorthEast...
Hmm, if I could only get this thing to let me upload photos I could show you the fit I'm going for. Took a couple shots of my pioneer. I agree the highwayman is classic but think the half belt on the back of other jackets fits me pretty well. Also trying to avoid looking too bikerish considering...
The Maxwell might be option, like the back design with the yoke / halfbelt. Not so sure on the buttons and one chest pocket. Usually prefer to be symmetric. That's probably why I enjoy the Pioneer so much, symmetry on the front and back. Think I'll also need to go with the black tumbled FQHH...
Looking for some opinions / suggestions from some of the more experienced folk here. I'm 5'9, 155lbs, 32 waist, athletic shoulders/upper body. Currently have a Pioneer Kudu hide in 38 reg (25inch back) that fits perfect. Fitted / tapered and drapes very well on me with some room for a thick...
Wow! Thanks for all the great info here guys. Some ideas are definitely a bit more "organic" than others! I went to military school so I'm trying to reverser the years brainwashing of shine shine shine, with dull / dirty / antiqued.
Main reason for the question was that I was looking at a...
Thanks for the info Mike but Im really trying to avoid international shipping / customs fees. Adds another $100 onto the jacket. And some of their used prices are only a bit cheaper then some of their New jackets on the sale page.
Looking for a gently used AERO in black. Ideally a 30s Halfbelt or Highwayman. Normal 38 measurements.... 25" arms or so, 25" back length. USA sellers only.
Yes, that is the jacket. Arrived today. First Aero jacket and I think I found my size....38 fits very well. Upper arms are a bit baggy but I think thats the overall Aero style. Chest is great, length perfect, arms good too..just have to move the button to the inside hole for more cuff room...
Haha. Got it. No cleaners! It says no odor / smoke etc but you never know. Should have it by the weekend. Interesting though, that you guys say its had two owners in a short period of time. Kind of concerning. Hopefully it fits / isn't defective!
Yes, grabbed this on Ebay by chance. Didnt really know much about the specific. I've been looking for new 38's in the US, basically anything I don't have to get shipped from UK. Was aiming for a black jacket but this one popped up and I figured Id take a chance. Probably send it of to the dry...
Just made my first quality leather jacket purchase....an Aero Pioneer Halfbelt, in brown Kudu. Apparently this is basically a deer from Africa. My question is, how to take care of the jacket and what kind of weather (rain, snow, etc) I can expose it to. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
