Mystic yes, it feels just as hefty, but the bracelet and clasp are much more solid feeling, not heavier, but that Jubilee bracelet, I have seen the links spread out and look terrible. The clasp on the Jubilee looks flimsy, but it worked. The one on this one looks and feels more substantial.
David, love that hat. You photograph well in them, you really do.
Rusty, Deangelo did come from Arkansas as I recall. Memphis has not had a good team since he graduated. I like our coach though. We really need to put money into the program or else drop down a division, no shame in that...
Love that '51 on a strap
Mine is a recent vintage when they went to the new Oyster bracelet. I sold off my two tone gold/silver one with the Jubilee bracelet and got a new Datejust with black sunburst dial. It does not appear it in the pic, but the sticks and roman numerals are silver, not...
Hey, id be in favor of a grey one. I dont read every thread and with the titles, I have a pretty good idea of the gist of the thread and can decide whether to read or not. I dont want to make anyone grumpy however
I did see Steel in Buckaroo's shop and felt it was bluish grey, and while it was sharp, I think if that is the hat that is the far left, second row, my eye is drawn to the top shelf, far right and middle shelf, far right, with I think the top shelved one being a great color. What color Is that...
Found a pic of some hats I am liking

Can anyone tell me if the steel grey Tumwater pictured in this thread is the same color as the grey hat, second shelf, far left?
What colors are the grey hats on the far right, first on the top shelf...
I am not wearing these much and these were all bought within the last 8 months. The driving cap and the panama worn like 4, 5 times, max. The Fedora, maybe 10 times. All hats are a medium and I wear a 7 1/8th and I think they could fit a 7 1/4. The driving cap is the snuggest fit of the...
Thanks guys. Yes, it is definitely pecan or brown for me, since they are in rabbit and Thunderball, I love that camel color but it is only in beaver. Id probably do beaver if I knew I would wear brown more.
I am loving the contrast on this hat that I tried on, but that Tumwater pecan looks...
Some great looking hats. I agree that I think brown may work a lot wider than some other colors. The buckaroo hat in beaver/brown worked very well with my blue suit. I think it works better than black and is more versatile. Camel may work for me also.
I was looking at hats and thinking, well, brown is not so bad a hat color. I tried on a chocolate brown hat at Buckaroo and people there said its coloring was good on me. So I'd love to see pictures of hats with interesting contrasting and complimentary ribbon treatments. Mike had a pecan...
Taking the modified Buckaroo Hat out for a spin with a suit:
Last night, wore it to dinner and waiter told me I could leave it on the table in lieu of his tip (Germantown Commissary for BBQ with the wife)
My wife and daughter had given me grief about the height of the crown on the hat Mike did. So you don't have to thread back, here it was as before:
It was a 4 1/2 inch crown in front, and they kept calling me sheriff. Mike, Rusty and a lot of you thought it looked fine and I was getting...
Rusty, thanks for the hat comment. Mike told me not to rush, but I see myself getting another hat, in the lighter grey or darker grey, with a larger ribbon. Sent the pic to daughter, she called me sheriff. Oh well, courtroom clerk said it looked great.
Yes, Commercial Appeal, like...
My Buckaroo:
Girl at the convenience store where I, only occassionally, stop in to get a chicken biscuit, has loved my Stetson Saxon. Today, she commented that she really liked this hat, and noticed that it stood up taller and I explained that I just recently learned that this style is more...
