    Lunch, Anybody?

I agree, and that goes beyond peanuts. I eat some kind of nuts or legumes every day.

    Lunch, Anybody?

Oh, that's different than the result I got when I googled "german tomato sauce." (I'm naturally curious, could spend hours researching random things.) The one I saw had paprika in it, and no basil. I just buy it and I nearly always get the one made with cabernet. It's sweet and I like...

    Lunch, Anybody?

What's in it? I mean, what spices?

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

I need to clarify that I got a concussion because I fell over the box, bounced back and landed on my bottom. It jarred my spine--which is already unstable--sufficiently to bounce my brain around a little bit. I have a history of these, so I'm really susceptible. So that's how you trip over a...

I'm going to say something that sounds arrogant but is just something I've been told forever: I have nice legs. And I have a scar on my left knee but it's really faded, so it doesn't bother me. And I have a small shaving scar on my left ankle, which I never see because it's on the outside, so...

    Lunch, Anybody?

How is that weird? Maybe people are still afraid to eat nuts. They used to be said to be unhealthy, I guess because of the fat or calories? Anyway, today I had PB & J with hamburger soup (homemade with veggie burgers, tomato-y broth, peas, green beans, onions, roasted carrots).

    Lunch, Anybody?

PB & J again, and some cheese and a handful of pistachios.

My mishaps are legendary. How did I break my arm? I was dancing on top of a chair and it fell. (No it wasn't a wild party. I was 11.)

I am the most minor-catastrophe prone person you will EVER meet. The ways in which I injure myself are ridiculous and I have many scars to prove it.

This makes me laugh every single time. "He says it's personal this time." The way she says that so casually gets me.

Yum. I've made that soup from scratch. It's not as hard as it sounds.

You just described my entire life.

    Lunch, Anybody?

I didn't eat brekkie, so 3 eggs and a mocha for lunch. I might go out to late lunch with a friend.

Thank you. I was just so proud of how my hair turned out that night. Had a dinner event and I did mine and friend's hair. She walked in first and immediately said "That's swanson_eyes' handiwork." They know me and my love of the '20s/'30s. Lizzie, "I think the Lounge is rather unique in...

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

What ticks me off: internet arguments. I just posed a question on another board about a possible home remedy. I simply asked if anyone had tried it. The one response I got was basically "Why would you want to do that??" Did she not read my post? I explained in the first sentence--and all...

    Lunch, Anybody?

Mine will be a boring PB&J and some cheese sticks.

    Lunch, Anybody?

I had tortilla pizza. It's exactly how it sounds: pizza toppings on a tortilla. I put mushrooms and olives on it, along with onion powder (out of actual onions). I forgot to drizzle with balsamic vinegar, which I just bought for that purpose. *facepalm*

Ladies, what are you doing this evening?

I've not done much. I made dinner and cleaned up dishes. I dealt with the remainder of the laundry. I'm currently posting and listening to Herb Alpert. I've been home all afternoon but I'm so sleep-deprived that I'm useless.

Any other curly girls in here?

I suppose a flatter canopy isn't bad if you're doing vintage styles, though. Flat crowns were the rule, even with rolls in front. Lately I have been letting my curls do whatever and doing a low infinity bun or some other early '20s style. But tomorrow I'll set it with my Caruso rollers and do...
