Sorry I can't help with an answer.
I just had to say that the way in which AL has the 'Havana Brown' displayed is rather confusing.
The main image of it (on the Roadster page) appears to be a beautiful mid to dark brown, whilst in the actual product videos they have immediately below the...
Thank you Sockeye, I did see that one. What a beautiful colour yours is!
Given that my 'slim fit' 1930's Half Belt is a 42, I think a 42 in a Hwymn may be a little too loose for what I am after.
Thanks for the thought though!
Most people seem to suggest going down 2 sizes to get a reasonable...
Hi,
I'm thinking that a casual styled jacket would compliment my Aero 1930's half belt.
I like the highwayman, but am conscious that they can be a little 'boxy', or so they're described around here.
I guess I'm looking for a neater fitting jacket, my ideal measurements are around the...
I love this place. It's a bit like the twilight zone. You think you're discussing one thing & before you know it, you've been transported through some kind of surreal dream-like conversation that's touched on a whole heap of topics that you are interested in. Occasionally, it even goes back to...
Nice, I just sold one of these & can attest to the overall build quality - it is superb!
Sleeves look spot on, the body is on the longer side. If this is what you were after, wear with pride & enjoy!!!
Welcome back!
Here's an Aero in seal goat. It is one of their 1930's slim fit half belt's, so not quite a highwayman in design. AT least you can visualise the hide and details etc.

All mechanical watches do require servicing approximately every 5 years.
The misunderstanding that this is not the case comes from the thinking that you only have a service when the watch noticeably starts to loose time.
The reality is that the oils and lubriation DO degenerate over time and...

I'm digging the button front with that style jacket, kind of a timeless design. It works really well.
I'm also guessing that it's an FQHH leather? If so, could the 'tightness' simply be that it is brand new & needs wearing in to soften?
Sounds like a wonderful jacket, please do post some pics.
FQHH & a medium weight weathered MacKenzie tartan, for here in Aus?
I hope you run a little cold naturally as that will be a warm jacket!
Completely agree with you there HD.
That's why I mentioned that I was baffled. The AL was measured at 24" & sat at (almost) the same spot in relation to the pockets on those pants as my Aero, which is 26.5".
There's no photo trickery going on here & the pants were not pulled up in the first...
This one baffled me HD.
My proportions are fairly 'normal' & I wouldn't say that I have a particularly short, or long for that matter torso / legs.
The pants are a regular sized 42 suit, which sit at the waist, exactly the same as any of the jeans I wear. The on,y visual difference being the...
