Ha !!!
I see that I have competition for large sized high res images !! I'll have to up the anti next time :cheers1:
Some seriously nice jackets Gentlemen.
Ah! I think I follow now.
The D rings do an amazing job of holding the waist adjusting straps in place. The additional 'keepers' that I've created are simply there to tuck the excess strap into & stop them flapping around. A bit like the excess strap on a wristwatch.
Strong enough? Sure. The stitching on the back is certainly functional. Not pretty, but functional.
A bit like the difference between a plastic surgeon who lives in an apartment in Manhatton overlooking Central Park versus an Army field surgeon. Both will do a 'functional' job.
I'm the Army...
Final bump. Then back off to eBay.
Remember, the price is stated in Aussie dollars, not US.
Also, I'd like to note that after looking at the 'Full Sun' images again, they do look considerably lighter than the jacket does under normal lighting (overcast day, out of the direct & full overhead...
I'm interested to know if anyone else has done this.......
On this new half belt, the jackets waist is larger than mine. As such, the waist adjuster pulls are tightened somewhat. No issue here, other than the excess material seems to poke outwards from the body a bit.
If the jacket is layed...
Firstly, congratulations on having yourself an absolutely stunning jacket!
I think you may have opened a can of worms with this one though......
If Aero have the capacity to provide a 'fit' service which includes mock up jackets no less, I think they may be inundated with these requests from...

Well, :o , you are too kind.....
In reference to this goat hide, seriously, it is as substantial as you would ever really want, yet as soft and flexible as you will really ever need. It is lovely stuff!
Thank you, very kind words indeed.
"To get this fit from the sales section", yes I...
Thank you everyone for the kind comments.
HD, I agree. The only similarities that I can readily identify are the horizontal chest pocket & the hand warmers - although the angle has been changed from the standard pattern. Either way, the card clearly states that it was at least cut from the...
MASSIVELY different ProtienNerd.
You may recall my other jacket initially felt a little 'cardboard' like & was quite stiff.
This one flops around & is extemy soft right out of the box. Keep in mind that this is new, not a used trade in either.
Very, very comfortable.
Well, the latest acquisition has arrived!!
I thought you may like a little break from the trial narrative, so here we go...
I spied this beauty on the sale pages of Aero's website. The measurements seemed to be practically perfect, so I thought I'd give it a go.
This jacket is a modified...
It's probably the gravity down here.
We are on the underside of the world you know. Being upside down, it causes the collar to flex outwards, whereas if you stood 'upright' in the northern hemisphere, the gravity causes the collar to curve downwards.
It's science....
