    Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

Thanks Steve. I'll have a look at the website again. ... I've just had an email form OKW to say that the order is 'in transit'. I presume that means it will be delivered in a white van. Yes, the photos are the ones OKW sent.

    Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

Above I hope you will see the images of the Bond WP elbow patches sent by Neil at OKW. … Steve: I think the price has always been £57.00 - the 1945 (which seems to have vanished; I have the Black version) might have been £47.00. I think I am going to splash out on this as I like the look and...

    Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

I had a brief reply from Neil at OKW saying that he would arrange for some photos of the elbow patches to be taken and sent to me. This hasn’t happened yet. My sense is that the current staff (as opposed to the old guard such as Neil) have no idea what is going on and are just pressing buttons...

    Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

You’re right - that matches my memories of the Bond movies I grew up with. I have sent an email to OKW about the elbow patches.

    Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

I notice that in the photos of the Bond it’s impossible to see the elbow patches? To be honest I think OKW is under new management and its older, more experienced staff are taking a back seat. I have noticed that their promotional emails are often badly spelled with poor grammar and some of the...

    Autumnal Thoughts........

Each to his own. … I like the cultures, cuisines and languages of many hot places, but need a blast of cold air as well. That said I am happy with the North African winter and spring when it is warm and dry by day, crisp at night.

    Autumnal Thoughts........

I can’t imagine life without autumn! I’d be happy to visit Hawaii but would need to come back to somewhere with four seasons! The book is still in print and on Amazon.

    Autumnal Thoughts........

I like the idea of Hawaii for the culture, the shirts, the pizza etc. On the more serious cultural point, I read ‘Hawaiian Magic and Spirituality’ by Scott Cunningham several years ago. It’s the kind of book I could easily read-read because it is so full of information. It is about the authentic...
