None of my OR's have the ribbon ends tacked against the hatband ribbon body. They all have a loose end down on the brim. Some more than others.

Yep, but don't have the Imperial Silverbelly since I sold it once I got the Heritage version.
Favorite is the Moonstone followed ever so closely by the Bluegrass Green, which is the Fedora Lounge version with 2 5/8" brim width.
I've got 2 Heritage Campdraft Deluxes
First one, because we at the Lounge convinced them to make the run & second, because that's the only way to get one in Moonstone.
Overall, the felt hand & finish are better, ribbon & sweat are better...justify that much added cost = good enough for me.
My vote goes for the Bushman = classic Aussie hat, sort of the Open Road of Oz, IMHO. (Campdraft is an Open Road)
Plenty of brim, plenty of crown.
Snowy River is too touristy for me. Cattleman has too low of a crown for me.
Get a Hat Jack or a vintage hat stretcher off ebay. Most western wear stores that have a hat dept can stretch one while you wait.
If you are a serious hat wearer, at hat jack is pretty much necessary equipment like a hat brush, IMHO.
