Going down memory lane today. I good friend had one of those and I remember going from the West country to Mid Wales on the back of it one freezing winter. Although his was a slightly later one. Nice bike and so unusual then.
I saw that one and I do like it. I was wondering if mine might be even older than I thought and might be of a similar age as this one you posted here a few pages back. The label may not to fit the 2005-2007 time frame. Or does it?
Thanks. Yes John Lever who seems to know thinks they used this skin from around 2005-2007 so that would fit in with your's being slightly different.
No I'm not fussed about the colour it's growing on me, and I always quite liked gingers. The female kind anyway.
Thanks Smithy.
I wasn't even looking for one when I saw this and I bought it on the spur of the moment so I don't think I'm going to be arsed hunting down my perfect one. I'm happy with it and the fit, but I do like the darker fur really... I don't think Spitfire settled on the one he had...
Right. I came to the auction late but judging by the time it took him to reply to my messages after I bought it, and the time it took him to post it, I doubt if I would have got a reply in time.
I'm rather glad it's older than I thought though. Nobody seems to have much good to say about the...

I just got this Eastman from eBay. The seller said he bought it new but only wore it twice in an open car which he then sold so didn't need the jacket anymore. Since he was also selling a saxaphone which he had given up trying to learn after discovering that you had to blow hard I can believe...
Walter Scott had a lot to do with all that romantic highlander schmalz.
Difficult to picture from this distance just how famous he was and how wildly popular his books were then.
I read that too but it was the introductory sale at the beginning nearly a year ago. They shortened the sleeves of my sale jacket for nothing then too. They have a four week or so waiting list now so are getting established, and I can't see them making full price jackets for half price anymore...
Just looked of the AL outlet page and they don't have any others like this in a bigger size.
Clearly you are the one who's going to wear it but if it was me I would keep it for the money. It looks fine to me, if a little bit tight at the front perhaps but it hardly notices, and many here who...
