Awesome medal!!! Is that your Jack? I will say that is not the same as the one in the picture....no ribbon, different hanger pin, medal itself has figures in the center. To me it looks like some GAR medals I have seen and or fraternal medals....could also be a Sons of Confederate Veterans or...

Now for the medal....I cannot tell either......other than the use of a Maltese Cross. Probably a Fraternal Order or some such....
Been wearing my modern hemp Stratoliner a lot lately. I must say I do not find the hemp particularly cooler that a good thin unlined felt.....but they look the part anyway. On this one I threw a circa 1950 woven pug over the ribbon.....gives it a nice look I think...inspired by these 1949 ads.
