hopefully by tonight.
A bloke has sourced a pair for me. l'm paying over $500 for these babies, so l hope he posts in the next few hours. l feel 95% confident i've got my size nailed, but i'm still alittle paranoid.
l keep my old bludsones in the shed for most of the year (a great home for all the spiders to live in). But l do get them out and wear them when i'm down the beach.
l cannot agree on that.
l bought a pair 20 years ago. Nice cow leather work boot uppers and a strong glued sole (back then)....BUT as usual, the achillies heal of all cheap shoos are the soles. They Crack!
Blundstones were very very popular with the Uni crowds (esp girls) in the late...
l prefer the look of all leather heals too. l think the combinatioin heal came in during the 60's. The soles of the vintage Florshiem lmperials are amazing.
l'm only new to tweed, but l love the stuff. l'd love to see all your vintage tweeds. l don't have any vintage tweeds yet (i'm working on that), but l have a few nice newer tweed coats. Here they are:
Note: the photo's do NO justice to the colours of the tweeds.
A nice light weight...
Here are 4 excellent pair of J&M handmade shoos. They stopped being made about 12 years ago and retailed for $1,000 U.S at the time. Some of the most beautiful classic shoos you will ever see.

Crockette & Jones `connaught' would be the ideal place to get a nice conservative captoe if they aren't available locally.

l'd prefer Church's over Grenson masterpieces or C&J handgrade anyday. Sure i've bagged Church's in the past (bad experiences with ruining the beautifully grain corrected leather), but those shoos are totally superior to any C&J and Grenson ANYDAY! They are comfy and l feel like a king while...
They look o.k. l'm after a couple summery perforated shoes. Been thinking of getting a couple of nice Vass to fill that empty area of my shoo collection.
Thanks, FAM's are great! Church's are amazing quality (nice thick strong subtle leather)....they excite me alot.

lt was a lucky day today.
Just happened to drop by a special...
Black Church's monk. lt's a tough old rascal (built really strong). Fits nice. Not as good as my older Church's monks. l got this to replace my broken Church's monk (old black one on 73) with a newer styled model. Never pretty, but smart reliable shoos. Nothing feels like Church's.....they have...
