I guess mine for the day is children who scream so loud I can hear them several yards away. And they are inside their apartment. I have a headache now.
My meatatarian friends really liked them. Today I had a late breakfast or early lunch of egg salad sammich and those choc almonds. I had french press coffee with heavy cream while shopping after work. It tided me over to dinner.
And yes, I adore Tofurkey roast beef style and also their Italian sausages, which are expensive. I always want to eat the whole package. They're a dollar a pop!
Still actual meat, though. Mine's soy and gluten. I embrace gluten. I refuse the gluten-free fad. Absolutely ridiculous unless you actually have celiac disease.
Roast "beef" sammich on Italian bread with mayo and cheddar. I forget if I had a side. If I did it was some dark chocolate salted almonds. I usually have some in my bag.
I almost had that again tonight but I needed to use up the tomato I bought a few days ago. So I had a sandwhich with tomato and fake bacon on Italian bread. I think tomorrow night will be taco night again.
I had dessert first: a couple of orange chocolate wafers. Then I had a beaf taco on fried flour tortilla with cheese, fresh salsa, sour cream, lettuce, and seasonings. I skipped the olives. Orange spice iced tea no sugar to wash it down.
It was a big taco on an 8-inch extra fiber tortilla, with lots of fat. My eating plan is based on lots of fiber and fat with adequate protein, so it doesn't take a big meal to fill me up. When I was doing the low-fat thing I ate mountains of food and was hungry all the time with wonky blood sugar.
I'm not really picky. I do like Worthington, which are made by the Loma Linda company, which started at a Seventh Day university in the area where I grew up. I found this: http://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/the-history-of-fake-meat-starts-with-the-seventh-day-adventist-church
