    I just had a salad with homemade blue cheese dressing and some mini quiches. Haven't had enough protein today so I've popped some breakfast sausages in the oven. I'm probably having a protein smoothie, too.

    Which is why I can't bring myself to buy any Christmas decorations. I normally don't put them up until after Thanksgiving, but sometimes I do buy things beforehand. I just can't, even though one of the home improvement stores has 6.5' trees for $69.

    I did the same thing. Talking about the first chill of the season does relate to chili, though. It's cool-weather food. I took soup to work today even though we're having a warm fall.

    I think I saw one of those lights in the fabric store. I have no idea why it would be there. I've never tried it, but I feel it would be in order in February. I know I am not going to do well with the sun going down an hour earlier tomorrow. I think we should stop doing this daylight savings...

    Jake, today at the pharmacy my skirt fell to the floor. No one noticed but probably the security guy if he happened to see it on camera. I'm still embarrassed. Life and wardrobe malfunctions happen, I suppose.

    We're having an unusually warm week. It's almost 70˚F right now. Instead of having a hot drink I'm going to make a vanilla malted.

    I ran by the store after work--a very quick trip--and came home and did the dishes and put away the laundry. It's now 10:14 and I don't know how that happened.
