Possibly late 40s IMO but there are other members far more knowledgeable in Stetsons than I. I think mine is likely mid 50s. I don't think I have any photos of mine. -

Harv, the Borsalino and the Lee both run a little large. The Lee a little more so than the Borsalino and should fit up to a 7 3/8.- rclark

I let mine air dry over my hat shaper or a hat block. However, the staining has to be pretty bad for me to cut that precious liner stitching. -

I don't think they should be a problem unless there is an odor present. If so, you can easily remove the liner and wash it gently by hand in Woolite. If that fails to remove the stains (or lighten them), then you can try washing the liner in a mild Oxyclean mixture. Beware the stronger the...
