Help me choose my first fur felt!
From looking at those prices, the hats are probably made in either China or by Tonak. There is no way that the hats could be made in the UK and retail for 50 pounds. Thats only 75 USD. I wouldn't expect much from them. For a little more you can buy a Biltmore hat and get a better product ... -

Milano Hat company is a competitor to Hatco . They were purchase a little while ago by Dorfman . Their factory is also in Garland TX. Fepsa makes bodies for a lot of private manufacturers here in the USA. They are competition to Winchester in TN . Fepsas bodies are by far the best out... -

The original Barbisio factory closed in the mid 1980's. The hats being made today are by Cervo of Sagliano Micca . A nice hat , but not the same as the original. They are however trying to increase the quality. I saw a pure beaver hat made by them recently. It was very nice...
