    I have a bunch of different brand but none any better than Stetson Stratoliner. It' great to try all hats but $200 is the limit per hat for me.

    If you want to get ripped off you were headed in the right direction. Don't pay more than Stetson or Akubra prices for inferior hats.

    To me the best bang for the buck is Stetson. Their quality on fur felt fedora's is outstanding. JMO

    Works for me. The professional steamers heat up faster where as you have to wait for the tea kettle to boil.

    I've been steaming hats on the stove top for 35 yrs with no problems. I might have to upgrade to a steamer one of these days.:):)

    Reminds me of 1995 Texas Stadium. Cowboys vs. Packers for NFC Championship. Cowboys won and went on to beat the Steelers in SB. Some friends and I got invited to a big Packers tailgate party. Man, what a feast and tons of beer. We watched the game full and half drunk. Good folks from Wisconsin.
