I'm hooked. Going to put in an order today for 2 pairs of Bravestars, slim straight, one black and one blue. Ultimately I want to end up with a 37-38 actual measurement waist, so I'm going to order size 34 which is a 36.5 am. Even if it doesn't stretch much, I can wear jeans down to 36am, so...
If I recall, RMCNZ did the jackets for Band of Brothers. I recently rewatched and now that I'm into jackets, I took note of these. As soon as I saw first A2, I was like holy cow, that looks slick. Not the usual potato sack. Later in episodes, there's a scene with the Lt. (David Schwimmer)...
It is. I bought it from a fellow lounger last year in the middle of a heat wave. I had a tailor trim the torso. He took out a good 2 or 3 inches from the bottom and mid section. It was ideal because I still needed the ptp and length from the bigger size. Carlos gave me that idea because he...
wash it in the tub with some angelus suede cleaner or light detergent. Be real gentle, slush it around, etc. The color of the water is going to blow your mind. Rinse thoroughly. Let air dry away from direct sunlight. You'll be fine. Once fully dry, you can then use a suede brush to perk it up.
Genius. So on the cloth tape, are you cramming that into the gap of the actual pin as well, or just by the shear amount of tape going up and down the whole length, it's staying put?
I've tried cleaning out the pin part to create that gap so you can slip something in (basically what that...
Some of you must think im nuts wearing b3 in Los Angeles. As crazy as it sounds, it gets a lot of wears in short bursts. Nothing better when the dogs wake you up at 6am to go out and you don't feel like layering up. You can just roll out of bed.. This does the trick over a tshirt and pjs...
I got nailed for about $70 on customs fees on my LL order. Invoice was about $1200 with a tshirt. It says something about 4% so no idea how it got calculated. I think DHL took a fee too for fronting. So maybe 4% of the whole, not just over 800. Or maybe california sales tax over 800 plus the...
Crappy shots but I just got done doing this alteration. Saw this henley/sweatshirt kind of thing that reminded me of Steve McQueen from great escape. Not an exact match but had the same sort of vibe. So I cut off some of the sleeve and hemmed it so it won't fray. Now I just need a Toys Mccoy...
There was one on the Thurston Bros page few weeks back, I want to say darker colored vancouver. I was like Ulysses chained down as he passed the sirens. Took every ounce of willpower not to break down and buy that thing. Simply gorgeous.
I like the Maverick and Cheyenne too, but there's...
thanks again for additional info. Yeah, I've almost hit buy a few times now and then sidetracked. Also I was waiting to see if I could find a coupon or welcome code or something like that. Plus black friday coming up, not sure they do anything. This isn't a need to have purchase (like most...
Some of us call this the "Shrinki" method. I love it. At least a handful of my jackets have been soaked and then put in the dryer to help touch up the fit. You got to be real careful mostly because of wavy zippers and sagging liners. But with a button style, jeez, you could go days in there...
It really has a huge range of color depth. Bright sun like I said, it's basically:
well, a little exaggerated but not far off.
I think with wear, picking up stains, skin oil, etc. it will darken. And worst case, I'll put a coat of some kind of oil. But I'm being dramatic. It's like 80%...
thanks. Yeah, like many here, first started off hating the patch. Within a year came around to going all in LOL-- contrasting tape, patch, etc. I saw the square patch in an IG shot sometime ago and liked it and just to be different than some of the orders here.
thanks for info. I'll check out Railcar too. Sugarcane, I still kick myself to this day, I had a chance to buy a HD Cycle Champ style jacket from Buyee for like super cheap, $300 maybe. I forgot that they let the auction go later and went to bed early. Still dream about that jacket--teacore...
I need to get into raw denim like I need a hole in the head. I always get trapped by the intrigue of all these sub cultures. Here we are a little over a year later on these forums and I bought 30 something jackets. I fear what might happen here LOL. But I'm quickly going into the camp of...
