Lewis Leathers still offer full length riding jackets: The Black Arrow (on the left) and the Roadmaster (on the right). The latter is similar to the Barbour or Belstaff designs.
Belstaff offer a leather version of the Trialmaster, which is similar to the Barbour International.
BKS Leather made a suit for a customer, where the jacket was influenced by the Barbour and Belstaff designs. It's not as aesthetically pleasing, and I think that the owner (who's not the bloke...
If you're going down the jeans route, then I'd suggest looking at the Rev'it Rockefeller, which have a full CE rating, and fantastic, low-profile armour, or anything by The Rokker Company. The latter are reassuringly expensive.
Kushitani Country Jeans are made from leather that looks like...
People were saying that they didn't like the green lining on the reversible jacket, so I posted the work coat to show that Aero have alternative colours. Unfortunately the point appears to have been missed... :D
Blue Vicenza, plus blue Melton wool?
I used to be a fan of the Waterfront, and it looks like the Reversible Sports Jacket will be its replacement. Aero posted this image to Instagram a couple of weeks ago, and I like it. The only trouble is that I don't think it gets cold enough here in Melbourne to justify one.
The is the BKS Leather "Mayhew" jacket.
BKS make some of the finest and toughest motorcycle gear around. This jacket probably has a full set of armour, and if not, it could be added. It'll also be fitted to its owner.
The downside is that it costs about £1500.
This is a BKS Leather police rider's suit that was worn during an unintentional dismount at 100 mph / 160 km/h. Apart from some awesome patina, and a bit of tearing on the Kevlar stretch panel, it's in good shape. The rider had a bruised hip. There are more details and pictures on their Facebook...
Regardless of what you go for, you need the Rock 'n' Roll label. :D
I saw my first Vicenza jacket the other day, and it's a really nice leather. If you're not into the super heavyweight FQHH, then I'd go that way.
This vintage jacket only has handwarmer pockets, and I think it suits the style. The fact that it's two tone helps. :)
In general, I'm not a fan of chest pockets, and I normally delete them from my jackets when I get a chance. Given a choice, I much prefer two, as it's more symmetrical.

Hedy Lamarr was a smart girl too. She was the co-inventor of Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum, which was developed during WW2 for guided torpedoes, and is now one of the technologies used in things like Bluetooth and Wifi.
It puts her in a somewhat different league to the usual actresses. :)
The Good Wear looks a bit broad across the shoulders. Ideally the seams should sit at the top of your arms, and they're an inch or two down.
But apart from that, it looks a nicer jacket than the ELC. The length of the sleeves seems better.
I'd suggest keeping an eye on the Good Wear Sales...
OK, we're veering rapidly off topic, but motorcycles... :D
The Thruxton R is probably the king of retro bikes right now. A lot of the accessories have been delayed, but the fairing makes for a convincing take on the Paul Smart style Ducatis.
This is a customised version that was built in...
OK, how about an East West Barnstormer.
Or the Aero version, which is slightly simplified.
The top one is an Ibis reproduction, and looks like it's based off a Café Racer style. So I'd find some blackmail pictures of John Chapman, and convince him to build one off his J100 pattern. I'd...
