    Butte, that is a very smart jacket. I like goatskin, even though it doesn't have the panache of HH, I would recommend it to a person who was getting their first A2, and was going to thrash it around. In some ways, goat is better value for money. Granted, I still like the look of HH better.

    That is a nice jacket, I know what you mean about armholes that are too large - I am a thin guy that can never get a slim jacket that fits well. One year - good things are worth waiting for.

    Kelorgo, If you checked out my photobucket link (and I'm assuming you did) you're looking at a US-A in russet HH. I think I would have preferred to get it in that dark seal brown, but I've been told by people that they think the lighter shade is nicer on me. If I were to buy from them again...

    If you want a goatskin jacket with no knitting, I would suggest taking a look at the "G8". It is sometimes advertized as a navy flight jacket issued in the interwar period (it wasn't) and it looks fairly unique. There are a few companies who carry it, I may get this one in the next few years...

    Yar - I like the lighting you did with those shots. Did you use a flash? The picture shows the grain well. I've noticed that the Talon "Nickel" zipper is just Nickel coating over a brass zipper. I suppose I got what I paid for though.

    I don't know why I haven't taken advantage of the fact that here in Vietnam: 1.tobacco is dirt cheap, 2.this country has good relations with Cuba, 3.There are several cigar cafes within a 5 minute drive of my house?! I need to see what they have, any recommendations for Cubans??
